The world is not a pleasant place just now.
What with the awful war in the Ukraine,
Elon Musk slashing jobs at Twitter,
And Trump trying for office once again.

The economy has taken a nosedive.
Temperatures are rising swiftly.
Migrants are sailing to our shores.
MPs are behaving insufferably.

And then the pièce de resistance.
I’m rocked to my very foundations.
I can feel a stern letter coming on.
